FULL MOON RITUAL – DECEMBER 9TH
YOGA NIDRA & SOUND HEALING
The full moon in December, also called cold moon, invites us to reflect about past, present and future.
What do you need to let go of? What space needs to be created?
Adventure into rest to discard what’s not needed, becoming one with receptiveness for new, fresh experiences.
Join in for a journey through the senses, by practicing Yoga Nidra tuning in deeply into your body and its sensations, with little sound baths added in between a guided journey. Sound healing has the power of calming the nervous system down even further, and be beneficial for cell rejuvenation. There will be gaps of sound healing through this session, giving you the opportunity to tune into the sounds of singing bowls, and additionally feel their frequency close to your body. Along with them, you will enjoy some curated ambient and mellow techno tunes and tuning fork massages. An hour and a half to fully retreat into yourself and inner peace, cultivating the art of letting go and transform what you don’t need into a positive event in order to release tension and bring the mind to a state of zero. For more receptiveness into the now. Not into yesterday and not about the future. Feel free to bring a journal to write your insights down post class. Come back to gratitude in this very moment.
Tuning Fork Massages at the end of the session (head only)
Allow yourself to detach from your thoughts, fully relax, by diving into your body’s different layers and by activating your consciousness through the senses. Yoga nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full awareness. In a world where the mind is always busy on the to dos, this practice will have the benefits of reducing stress, anxiety and calm the monkey mind. This systematic method of relaxation has been proven to be as recharging as 4 hours of sleep.
YIN YOGA & SOUND VIBRATIONS / YOGA NIDRA FOR MANIFESTATION
The new moon brings the opportunity to recreate, every month, with every cycle. By the end of the year, connecting with the last new moon can bring clarity on what’s important and dear to us. To do so, we’ll practice openness, in body and mind. Expand beyond your limitations in order to receive.
Yin Yoga with Sound Massages and Tuning Forks
Final Yoga Nidra for Manifestation
HOW IT FEELS
Enjoy a yin yoga journey designed to nestle into the winter season, which lets us seek grounding and opening the heart – a natural act towards the new year. This session will contain poses that will rebalance our nervous system, relax, yet opening up the physical being and prepare us for a restful evening. They will go along with the season’s element. In yin yoga, a pose is held up to 3-6 minutes.
Each pose has a rebound in between of a few minutes. A rebound means bringing the body in a neutral position to benefit from the asana you just practiced. In these moments you will enjoy a variety of massages performed either with singing bowls on your body or tuning forks. These massages induce more grounding, calm and reinforce the energy flow (chi) in your body.
The session will end in a yummy yoga nidra meditation for manifestation with sound healing, to integrate your experience.
Gina (Hatha/Yin Yoga/Yoga Nidra/Sound Healing)
Gina has stumbled upon all things Yoga and meditation in 2015, while googling methods to improve sleeping patterns, as she has the tendency to be quite a night owl, you know… Her practice made her build trust into the various processes of life, the low and the high rides, guiding her out of places of grief and a burn out. She has travelled extensively for the past 10 years, and let the practice shape her journeys around the world. She made it her mission to show in her teachings that it’s OK to slow down, it’s even necessary, in order to evolve and grow. She is a certified yoga teacher and merges her classes with yoga nidra, shamanic sound healing, tuning forks and yin yoga. Gina has been working in the CBD industry since 2017, founding the first plant medicine infused classes in Zurich two years later, sharing her deep knowledge about it with the aim to take away people’s potential fear about the plant, and encouraging an intuitive use of natural remedies for a deeper practice, pain management or anxiety relief. In 2021, Gina has expanded her studies by attending an additional advanced yoga nidra training and by going more in depth on the use of tuning forks.
